    **The customer is responsible for ensuring there is adequate space for dumpster delivery and pickup. Due to the size of the truck, trailer, and dumpster, a clearance area approximately equal to 3-4 vehicle lengths may be required to safely maneuver and place the bin.

    The customer may direct where the dumpster is to be placed; however, placement is at the customer's own risk. Due to the weight of the dumpster, its contents, and the delivery equipment, the dumpster's wheels or rollers may cause surface damage, including but not limited to tire marks, ruts, divots, cracks, scratches, indentations, or damage to asphalt, concrete, gravel, grass, sod, landscaping, driveways, and other surfaces.

    While reasonable care will be taken during delivery and pickup, VDR Site Solutions shall not be responsible for any surface damage resulting from the weight of the equipment, dumpster, contents, or ground conditions beyond our control. By accepting delivery, the customer acknowledges and accepts these risks.

  • Additional Bin Exchange Service

    If a customer fills their dumpster before the end of the rental period, VDR Site Solutions may provide a bin exchange, subject to availability.

    How It Works

    If your bin becomes full during your rental period, simply contact us to arrange a replacement bin. We will remove the full bin and deliver an empty bin so you can continue your project without interruption.

    Charges

    Each bin exchange will be treated as a separate rental and will include:

    • Bin rental fee

    • Fuel surcharge

    • Applicable disposal (tipping) fees based on the weight of the removed bin

    • Applicable taxes

    Example

    A customer rents a 14-yard bin for 7 days and fills it on Day 3.

    • The full bin is removed, weighed, and disposed of.

    • Disposal fees are charged based on the actual weight.

    • A new empty bin is delivered.

    • A new rental charge and fuel surcharge apply for the replacement bin.

    Availability

    Bin exchanges are subject to scheduling and equipment availability. While we will make every effort to provide prompt service, same-day exchanges cannot be guaranteed.

    Rental Period

    The rental period for the replacement bin begins on the date the replacement bin is delivered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Prohibited Materials

    For the safety of our staff, customers, and disposal facilities, the following materials must not be placed in any dumpster bin:

    • Ammunition

    • Explosives

    • Firearms and gun-related materials

    • Biohazardous or biomedical waste

    • Contaminated soil

    • Liquid waste of any kind

    • Oil, fuel, petroleum products, and other automotive fluids

    • Prescription medications

    • Non-prescription medications

    • Radioactive materials

    • Sewage or septic waste

    • Burning, smoldering, or hot materials

    • Any other material prohibited by local, provincial, or federal regulations

    Disposal of Prohibited Materials

    Many prohibited items require special handling and disposal procedures. Customers may be required to contact the City of Winnipeg or an approved hazardous waste facility to arrange proper disposal or collection of these materials.

    If prohibited materials are found in a dumpster bin, VDR Site Solutions reserves the right to:

    • Refuse collection of the bin until the prohibited materials are removed.

    • Charge additional handling, cleanup, transportation, or disposal fees.

    • Report materials to the appropriate authorities when required by law.

    • Cancel rental services for safety reasons.

    The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all materials placed in the dumpster comply with applicable disposal regulations and these terms and conditions.

  • Live Load Service - $100/hr

    Don't need a bin left on-site? We'll bring the dumpster to you, and you load it using your own manpower while we wait. Perfect for quick cleanups, renovation debris, and junk removal projects. A 1-hour minimum charge applies, plus fuel surcharge, disposal fees, and applicable taxes.
